1. Who we are
Remnivo is provided by DproVision ("DproVision", "we", "us"). DproVision is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us about privacy at privacy@remnivo.com or about general support at support@remnivo.com.
This policy applies to the Remnivo mobile application, remnivo.com, our APIs, synchronization, public publishing, subscriptions, and related support services.
2. Data we collect
We collect data you provide, data created while you use Remnivo, limited technical data needed to operate and secure the service, and data received from the sign-in or app-store provider you choose.
- Account and authentication data: email address, display name, password hash, email-verification state, account identifiers, sign-in provider identifiers, session and refresh-token records, and account-deletion status.
- Private Remnivo content: memos, sets, text, phrases, quotes, lyrics, notes, selected images or other attachments, learning progress, review history, and synchronization metadata when cloud sync is enabled.
- External-image data: image-search terms, Pexels image and photographer identifiers, source and attribution links, selection time, and the downloaded local image path.
- Public content: the memo, set, image, author information, publication state, and related metadata you deliberately publish, plus reports, blocks, and moderation records.
- Subscription data: store, product, transaction and entitlement identifiers, subscription status, renewal or expiration state, and refund or revocation events. Apple or Google processes your payment details; Remnivo does not receive your full card number.
- Optional product and diagnostic metrics: metric name, limited allow-listed screen or action category, count, duration or value, timestamp, app version, platform, operating-system version, and locale. These metrics exclude memo text, attachments, email addresses, passwords, tokens, and arbitrary user-entered text.
- Service and security data: IP address, request time, route, response status, user agent, authentication and anti-abuse events, crash or delivery diagnostics, and correspondence with support.
3. How we use data
We use personal data only for the purposes described below. We do not sell personal data and do not use Remnivo data for third-party advertising or cross-company tracking.
- Create and protect accounts, verify email addresses, authenticate sessions, prevent fraud and abuse, and respond to security incidents.
- Store and synchronize private content across devices when synchronization is enabled.
- Publish only the content you explicitly choose to make public, operate discovery and sharing, and let you unpublish it.
- Provide learning, subscription, support, account-recovery, and account-deletion features.
- Moderate public content, process reports and blocks, enforce our Terms, and comply with valid legal requests.
- Measure reliability and product use, diagnose failures, and improve Remnivo using limited metrics. Where consent is required, we request it before collecting optional metrics and allow it to be withdrawn.
4. Legal bases
Where laws such as the GDPR require a legal basis, we process account, synchronization, publishing, and subscription data to perform our contract with you; security, abuse prevention, support, and service improvement for our legitimate interests; records where needed to comply with law; and optional analytics or other processing on consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already performed lawfully.
5. Private synchronization and public publishing
Synced content is private by default. Enabling synchronization does not publish anything. A memo or set becomes public only after you choose Publish and confirm the content and visibility shown in the publication flow.
Public content can be viewed, copied, downloaded, saved, or screenshotted by other people. Unpublishing or deleting removes Remnivo's public copy, but we cannot remove independent copies already made by others or content lawfully retained by another service. Do not publish secrets, credentials, private contact details, or sensitive information about yourself or another person.
6. Pexels image search
When you use Internet image search, Remnivo sends the search terms you submit to Pexels through Remnivo's backend. Search results include Pexels image identifiers, preview and download addresses, source-page links, photographer names and profile links, and descriptive text.
The app loads previews and the image you select from images.pexels.com. Pexels may therefore receive your device IP address, user agent, request time, requested image address, and related technical information under its own Privacy Policy. Remnivo downloads only the image you select when you save the memo or set.
Remnivo stores the selected image on your device together with its Pexels identifier and attribution metadata. It remains private unless you enable synchronization or deliberately publish the containing memo or set.
7. When data is disclosed
We disclose only what is necessary to operate Remnivo, satisfy your publishing choices, protect people and the service, or comply with law. Service providers are required by contract to protect data and use it only for authorized purposes.
- Hosting, database, object-storage, backup, content-delivery, email-delivery, security, logging, and monitoring providers.
- Apple and Google when you use their sign-in, distribution, purchase, subscription, refund, or entitlement services.
- Pexels when you search for or load Internet images. Pexels receives the submitted search term from Remnivo's backend and receives ordinary network request information when your device loads a Pexels-hosted preview or selected image.
- The public when you deliberately publish content and the profile information shown in the publication preview.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce rights, prevent harm, or investigate abuse.
- A successor in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to this policy and applicable notice requirements.
8. International transfers
Remnivo and its providers may process data outside your country. Where transfer rules apply, we use an approved legal mechanism such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful safeguard and provide information about the safeguard on request.
9. Retention and deletion
We retain account and private content while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you request account deletion, Remnivo schedules permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period so you can cancel the request. At the deadline, the account and associated active-service data are deleted or irreversibly anonymized unless a specific legal or security reason requires limited retention.
Deleted data may remain in protected backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten. Security and API logs and optional product metrics are normally retained for up to 90 days. Records needed for tax, payment, fraud prevention, disputes, or legal compliance may be retained for the period required by applicable law. Data preserved for these reasons is isolated and used only for that purpose.
Unpublishing removes content from Remnivo's public service. Account deletion does not cancel a subscription managed by Apple or Google; you must cancel it in the applicable store.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may ask to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, withdraw consent, or complain to your data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You will not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.
- Manage or delete content and publication state in Remnivo.
- After signing in, request or cancel account deletion in the app or at remnivo.com/account-deletion. Website deletion actions also require a code sent to your account email.

- Email privacy@remnivo.com for another privacy request or to ask about an appeal.
11. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including encrypted transport, access controls, credential hashing, protected session storage, rate limits, monitoring, and restricted production access. No service or device is completely secure. Protect your device and credentials, and contact security@remnivo.com if you believe your account or Remnivo data has been compromised.
12. Children
Remnivo is not directed to children under 13. If the law where you live requires a higher age to consent to an online service, you may use Remnivo only with authorization from a parent or legal guardian. Contact privacy@remnivo.com if you believe a child provided personal data contrary to this section.
13. Website storage
Our website uses strictly necessary, encrypted, secure, HTTP-only cookies for authenticated sessions, token refresh, request validation, and account-deletion forms. We do not use advertising cookies. If optional website analytics is introduced, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
14. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when Remnivo, our providers, or applicable requirements change. We will publish the new version and effective date and provide additional notice before a material change when required. Continued use does not replace consent where law requires a new choice.
